Great Oak Farm - Parent Handbook

Our Home Education group is family-run by fellow home-educators. We started this group with the aim of giving other home-educating families access to a hands-on farm experience and the opportunity to meet regularly with friends.

Our sessions are led by Terri, who home educates her two children. Terri’s first love is horses; she is an experienced equestrian and has completed her British Horse Society Stage 3 qualification. She is also a fully trained outdoor first aider and holds an Advanced DBS certificate. In addition, she is currently working towards her Level 3 Forest School qualification.

As a practical, outdoorsy family, we have extensive experience in livestock and farm animal management, as well as a wide range of countryside skills.
